VOTING IN VIRGINIA AND FAIRFAX COUNTY
As a result of the 2010 U.S. Census, our HOA was split into two representative districts and voting precincts:
If your registered voting residence is:
- Gentle Lane 6200-6250 (All)
- Gentle Lane 6252-6260 (Even)
- Wooden Valley Court (All)
- Fallen Tree Court (All)
- Florence Lane (All)
Then you are in Virginia’s 30th Senatorial District, and:
Your currently assigned voting PRECINCT is: 408 MOUNT EAGLE
And your assigned POLLING PLACE is: Mount Eagle Elementary School, 6116 North Kings Highway, Alexandria
If your registered voting residence is:
- Gentle Lane 6251-6263 (Odd)
- Gentle Lane 6265-6287 (All)
- Gentle Court (All)
Then you are in Virginia’s 36th Senatorial District, and:
Your currently assigned voting PRECINCT is: 411 VIRGINIA HILLS
And your assigned POLLING PLACE is: Virginia Hills Center, 6520 Diana Lane, Alexandria
These representative districts will remain in effect until after the next U.S. census in 2020; however, voting precincts and polling places might change more frequently. If you are registered to vote in Virginia, you can expect to receive by USPS mail and updated Virginia Voter Registration Card at least 30 days in advance of an election if your assigned voting precinct or polling place has changed since the last general election.
